Introduction of Glacier, HOUSE III SA, HKUSTSU

Glacier, HOUSE III Students' Association, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Students' Union was established in 1994. It was a community comprising 473 hall residents in UG Hall III initially. After the establishment in 1994, not only does UG Hall III merely a place for accommodation, but also does it make this place a home with a front courtyard and superb sea view for all UG Hall III residents.

We aim at promoting friendship, cooperation and social, cultural and sports interest among HOUSE III members. We conceive our members as the fountain head so we put the benefits of members foremost. We would do our best to offer a wide set of functions and welfare to our members, making their university lives unforgettable and getting lifetime experience from joining our activities.

Building up HOUSE III spirit is one of our goals. We are going to achieve this by providing multiplex functions. There are three principles in achieving our aims: Multiformity, Originality and Unity. We will hold functions with a great variety. A new series of activities such as Activity Day will add colors to the university lives of our members. We hope to unite our members by drawing them together.

One of our targets is to cultivate the sense of belongings within HOUSE III. We keep the traditional functions such as Glacier Week and Roasted Pig Gathering, featuring the splendor and tradition of Glacier, HOUSE III SA, HKUSTSU.

To become and belong, Glacierians on and on. So we, the Executive Committee members of Glacier, HOUSE III SA, HKUSTSU, session 2013-2014, hereby promise all our members we will serve members cordially and whole-heartedly. We believe with all our dedication, we will bring new image to this community and add vitality to the excellence of HOUSE III.
