3 - 7 Jan 2011 - Joint University Study Tour to Seoul 2011 ISOMSS, HKUSTSU is proud to present the Joint University Study Tour to Seoul 2011 co-organized with 3 other students' societies from the Baptist University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Open University of Hong Kong. A total of 109 student participants from the 4 universities had gathered together for cultural exchange, firm visits and of course, fun during their winter break! Throughout the 5-day study tour, participants were given opportunities to interact with the local students from the Yonsei University and the Sungkyunkwan University. The keys to success of Korean corporations were also revealed when we have firm visits to the Samsung D’light, KBS Television Company and the Digital Pavilion. Apart from all the visits, we also enjoy skiing, hot spring and shopping to experience life as a Korean. All in all, the tour is a great success and all of us gained an invaluable experience and precious memories from this meaningful, energetic study tour. |
29 Oct 2010 - ISOMSS Mentoring Programme 2010 - Rivelare On behalf of ISOMSS, HKUSTSU, we are glad to announce the commencement of Mentoring Program 2010. The Mentoring Program aims at equipping students with necessary insights into the business world. We believe that interactions between mentors and mentees, together with a series of workshops would inspire thoughts and bridge students with the business world. This year, we proudly present the theme of Rivelare, which means to turn a new leaf. Our society is honored to corporate with Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) Students Group and invite mentors from ISACA as well as other professional firms. |
