Finance Touch 2011 -Fortunes of War is now open

Finance Touch is one of the most highlighted functions of the FSS every year. We aim to consolidate the financial knowledge of participants by providing them a chance in which they can apply their knowledge in real-life scenario. In addition, Finance Touch allows applicants to develop deeper insights and be better prepared for their future career in the financial field. Finance Touch will include nvestment simulation competitions and seminars by financial elites and professionals. A "social responsibilities" component will be incorporated in the investment competition, hoping to benefit not just HKUST students, but also the general public.
The theme of Finance Touch 2011 is “Fortunes of War”, implying the importance of financial knowledge in this state of economic climate. In this volatile economic environment, investment return is unforeseeable in spite of what might have been planned. Thus, apart from practical tactics, ample of luck and fortune are necessary. Through Finance Touch 2011, we hope to bring participants with useful techniques to apply knowledge into practice and capture the opportunities and positive return in midst of the unfavorable external environment.
