Mr. Chiang Wai Man
Music Director and Conductor
Mr. Chiang Wai Man graduated from the Music Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1977. In Chinese University, he studied vocal singing with well-known teachers like Michael Ryan, Nancy Zi, and Michael Rippon. Also, he studied conducting with Ng Chit Ko, Philip Cavanaugh, David Gwilt and Hugh Macdonald, and choral technique with Ma Ge Xun.
Mr. Chiang now serves as the choir conductor of the CCC Hop Yat Church (Ma On Shan Church), the On Shan Children' s Choir, the Cantacore Society and the University Choir, HKUSTSU., devoting himself in the promotion of sacred music and Chinese choral music. Chiang has been the choirmaster for the premiere and second performance of Chen Ning Chi' s Choral symphony Chariots Rattle On and Jiang Xiang' s Five Songs from Shijing, held by the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, a part time lecturer of the Music Department of the CUHK and the Sacred Music Department of Alliance Bible Seminary. He is currently a music editor in the Chinese Christian Literature Council Ltd.
蔣慧民先生
音樂總監暨指揮
蔣慧民，一九七七年畢業於香港中文學祟基學院音樂系；先後曾隨米高‧賴恩﹑徐美芬﹑聶明康習聲樂，師從吳節皋﹑賈萬祿﹑紀大偉及麥當諾習指揮，從馬革順習合唱學。
蔣氏歷任多個合唱團的指揮；現為合一堂馬鞍山堂詩班﹑馬鞍山少年歌詠團﹑雅謌合唱團及香港科技大學學生會合唱團，致力推廣聖樂及中國合唱音樂。曾任香港中 樂團首演及重演陳能濟合唱交響唱《兵車行》及金湘《詩經五首》的合唱團的合唱指導﹑香港中文大學音樂系及建道神學院聖樂系兼任講師，現任基督教交藝出版社 音樂編輯。
