The Cricket Club in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (UST) was established in 1999 and is still trying to get official status due to the lack of popularity among the locals. Cricket is perhaps the most popular sport within the British Commonwealth of Nations. It boasts of fan followings rivalled only by soccer. 

For the international community from India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan, UST Cricket provides a forum for interaction and a small re-creation of the beloved environment of our homelands. We have a regular schedule of weekly practice, monthly friendly matches and bi annual inter varsity sixes competitions. We hope to increase the frequency of matches played in the near future.
